Governance, Ethics, and Standardization for the Immersive Age
History teaches us that infrastructure defines society. The protocols of the Internet (TCP/IP) were defined by a small group of architects who prioritized openness and resilience.
As we build the operating system for the human sensorium, the stakes are higher. We are no longer just moving data; we are mediating human perception.
The Sensora Scientific Advisory Council (SSAC) is a non-commercial, legislative body convened to ensure that Sensora-OS is built on a foundation of rigorous science and uncompromising ethics.
The Council does not write code; it writes the "Constitution" that the code must obey. Its primary responsibilities are:
The SSAC is composed of Founding Council Members representing the six critical domains of multisensory science.
Sensora-OS Initiative Leadership
Focus: Scent primitives, diffusion dynamics, and chemical safety.
Focus: Electrical and thermal stimulation of taste receptors.
Focus: Perceptual thresholds, tactile illusions, and somatosensory safety.
Focus: E-skin integration and wearable actuator density.
Focus: Cognitive load management and fluid interaction.
Focus: Full-stack deployment and latency management.
The Sensora-OS Initiative is currently in the process of inducting the Founding Council Members. We are strictly "Invitation Only" to ensure the highest caliber of scientific leadership.
The first Council Roundtable is scheduled for February 2026 to ratify the initial version of the Experience Graph specification.
